Dr. Tate has been working as an academic Movement Disorders specialist since 2014 and has extensive experience caring for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, other forms of Parkinsonism, and Huntington’s Disease. She is passionate about educating patients and care partners and involving them in shared decision-making about treatment options. She is excited about expanding access to subspecialty expertise with Synapticure.
Dr. Tate grew up in small towns in West Virginia and Virginia. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending time outside enjoying the natural world, especially birding.
