From the moment you sign-up, you’re paired with an experienced Synapticure Care Coordinator who will guide you throughout your care journey. They will check in frequently to make sure your needs are met and they’ll connect you with local resources to get you the best possible care. They are in constant communication with Synapticure’s Neurologists, Genetic Counselors, Insurance Navigation Specialists, and others to make sure you’re covered from every angle.
Our care coordinators come from various nursing and social work backgrounds but all are aligned with the same mission: to transform care for individuals living with neurodegenerative diseases. By meeting patients where they are in their journey, our care coordinators provide compassionate, person-centered support, and have an action toward bias: If you need something, they will be your advocate until you get it.
In addition to the continuous support you receive from your Care Coordinator, you will also have access to our expert medical assistants who understand the administrative burden of collecting medical records, managing referrals and handling the complex world of prior authorizations. Our entire Care Team works together to ensure that every aspect of your care journey is addressed and no stone is left unturned. We are here for you when you need us.
